At the heart of the AlkaPro system is AquaRedox filtration media. As incoming water passes through the filtration system, AquaRedox uses oxidation-reduction processes to help address common water concerns.

The technology is designed to help remove or reduce chlorine, chemicals, volatile organic compounds, pharmaceuticals, organic pollutants, lead, and other unwanted contaminants. It also helps neutralize certain municipal water treatment disinfection processes.

How AlkaPro Conditions Water

AlkaPro also uses a salt-free approach to help address hard water scale. As water moves through the system, low-voltage impulses created by the system’s turbines help change the molecular structure of calcium, creating smaller, more soluble molecules that are less likely to adhere to surfaces.

This process, known as micro-clustering, helps reduce the potential for scale buildup on plumbing fixtures and appliances without relying on traditional salt or potassium-based water softening.
